One of the most effective methods of company management is a process approach. The process approach is described in the ISO 9000 series of standards. Elements of the process approach are also described in GMP.
The implementation of the process approach usually consists of the following steps:
- description of business processes as they are at the moment
- improvement (reengineering) of business processes
- adaptation and implementation of business processes
- monitoring the effectiveness of business processes using the following methods:
- Balanced Scorecard
- Activity Based Costing (ABC)
- Activity-Based Budgeting (ABB)
- Value Based Management
